I haven't played DDO in ages, but one thing I will always remember was the awesome guild mates that you feel like a 2nd family almost. McWinter was DEFINATELY one of those awesome guild mates. We actually ended up living really close to each other once we got on a friendly basis, and ended up hanging out a few times. Good guy all around.

He passed away unexpectedly Saturday night. I thought I would pass the information to the DDO community where I know he will be missed by his guild mates and friends. I know I miss him :(

My condolences to all concerned. Although I did not know him well, I had run with him on several occasions. RIP brother.

I am very sorry to hear about this.

I had not played with Mcwinter for a while, but remember when he was first starting up and making a special mental note that this guy was one of those rare new players who stood out in a good way and to catch more parties with him (which I did and enjoyed).

My condolences to his loved ones and ingame friends.

That is sad news indeed. I ran with him (and usually with you as well) many times on the TR train. Condolences to his family and friends. Thank you for passing that on B.

I'm really sorry to hear that. In fact it's a big sad news to start my day too :(
I've been reading posts on this forum for quite a long time and this is actually my first one that i think i should make a reply:
Met him on one of my TR lives and since then we ran quests together very often and became friends. I enjoyed playing this game with him and I am really feeling sad for losing a good friend as well as a good game player. I will miss you Mc, and condolence to all his family and friends.

Thanks all for the replies. Hope Sarlona is still classy as ever. I may pop up in from time to time, it's been awhile since I've heard from some of you.

Im sorry to hear this, I played with Mcwinter from time to time, we recognised eachother toons and always enjoyed running together. All I can say is that he was a nice fella to group with, I never had issues with him and he was someone that made my life easier online. The community lost a good member.

It's been a while, but I remember Cove farming with him. Always stood out to me as a good player and kept him on my friends list, even if I hardly ran with him afterwards.

Rest in peace McWinter. Wherever you are, know that a good portion of the server grieves.

I'd like to say I knew McWinter once and I give my most sincere condolences to his family. He was a guildie once. However, the terms we separated were not the most pleasant. However, I would never have wished harm to come to him and I'm really sorry to hear of his passing. I will remember him with the good things he has brought to my life.

I lost my mother two years ago. DDO always helped take my mind to great fantasies. I am sorry you lost a friend and that we have one less good human and player on the server.
