Improved Cleric Dilettante II: Increases your caster level in your dilettante class by 3, so you are now treated as a sixth level Cleric instead of third level.

So with dilettante can i cast the actual spells of that class? Kinda confused cause it says caster level ^^

With the proper dilettante can you use the special feats of a class. Clerics turn undead, Bards Fascinate, Inspire courage, Ect?

And if i went with a sorc dilly would i get the double SP from items?

Not sure what your main is, but I use cleric dilly on my monkcher.

Not exactly, the Cleric dilly: (from Wiki): Able to use wands and scrolls as if you were a level one cleric. Able to use wands and scrolls as if you were a level one cleric.

So with all 3 Dilettante enhancement levels it makes me equal to a lvl 10 cleric. This allows me to use heal scrolls with a 95% success rate - only a 1 fails, because heal scrolls actually need a caster lvl of 11. (As apposed to say my rogue with 39+ UMD that will no-fail scrolls even on a 1.)

In other words, look at the caster level needed to use cleric scrolls. The Dilettante enhancements will make your effective Cleric caster level higher to be able to use them.

To make things even a little more clear:

No, you cannot cast spells like a "real" cleric with the dilettante feat, but your character is treated like a cleric of 1st lvl (or 4th, 7th, 10th - depending on the enhancement I-III) for purposes of using scrolls and magic items that require having the cleric class.

So, no cleric spells in your spell list, but you can happily fire away with wands and scrolls.

Although your success chance with scrolls isn't as high as if you had sufficient UMD, the big advantage of dilettante is those success rates are fixed, so even if you've got 19 out of 20 of your levels drained, you can still use a greater restoration scroll with 75%(i think thats the number, cant remember off the top of my head at work) success chance to get them back in a single hit.. whereas each negative level applied drains 2 points from saves & skills, so only having a couple can sometimes really mess with your success chances while UMDing.
