Biijio or Fanion?

Which of these shields would be better for an evocation-focused favored soul?

Why would you want Fanion? Unless you have no other place to slot Archmagi.

Not really sure why you'd want Bijio either, but at least it has Devotion...

I'd go with the new Bijio personally. Devotion 72 while still affording protection is quite nice at level 12. Fanion would be good if you don't have archmagi I suppose, but at level 5 you can have purple ioun for archmagi if you either have a friend that will bracelet of friends you over to dreaming dark area and clear it for you or B if you're a TR and ran it past life. You can also get bracers of the glacier for min level 13 archmagi. or skiver for archmagi, but bijio and skiver don't really mix unless you like attacking with a dagger.

i actually like the arrondi quite a bit. toughness, FF, and heavy fort all in one. most of the new motu armor has toughness, tho

This or bijio. Arrondi lets you replace Minos AND a ff item, bijio is as good a devotion item as a nerfed epic... sadly... and that might not change. Plus both look way better.
