Question regarding multi classing, ED's and LR's

Okay, so I've almost capped my magister ED and wanted a change of pace so I figured a shiradi force archmage would be awesome. The grind however is pretty awful though so I was wondering if I could take a shortcut.
I've got a couple of +1 LHoW's from lotteries and I was wondering if I could do an LR and take a ranger level, start advancing in shiradi champion, wait a week and get rid of the ranger level.

I'm not even sure how ED's work on multiclassed characters, since the only char I have at cap atm is my wizard.

I would love some feedback from someone who has ANY input since I haven't been able to find anything by googling or using the forum search.

Won't work. Once you claimed a destiny on a character, you are stuck with it. The only way to shortcut is to buy the DDO store item. Also, you need at least 6 levels of a class to claim its destiny.

If you have not yet claimed a destiny on a character, you could TR/LR into a build that has access to it, claim it, then TR/LR into your final build.

Thanks for the info, figured as much, however since hearts of wood are mostly store bought I figured there might be a chance.
