secondary spells to focus on?

Hey guys,

I just recently reached level 15 for my sorcerer, an air savant II.

As i do more challenging quest, i notice that more monsters are immune to lighting. And lighting spells [lighting bolt..etc..] is where all my power comes from.
can anyone suggest a good secondary spell i can take or school of magic to focus on?

Cold or Force.

Colds nice for polar ray.

Force nicer for certain destiny abilities later on.

My sorcs air/cold atm. A few things are immune to both, but very rarely.
