I was wondering what feats my duel wielder should have should I decided to create him. Should he have the over-sized two weapon fighting feat? And also, what race is best for two handed fighter? And two duel wielders wear heavy armor? Or is a feat they never use?

Depends on what sort of duel you're fighting. :-)

Oversized TWF is recommended because the better weapons are generally one-handed weapons rather than light weapons. If you try to wield two one-handed weapons, you will suffer penalties.

For a two-handed fighter, (as opposed to a two-weapon/dual-wielder fighter) half-orc is probably the best bet. They get a high strength and bonuses for the two-handed weapon style.

If a dual-wielder has the heavy armour feat, then as long as you can avoid the max dex becoming an issue, there is no reason not to wear it. Rangers, who are the two-weapon specialists, don't have to have that high a dex because they get the feats anyway. Other dual-wielders have to have a dex of 17, which may mean that some heavy armour limits how much of that they can apply to their AC. Feats like mobility and fighter enhancements can help to get around this though.
