Greetings all. I have a couple remedial questions.
I'm currently rocking an artificer, and using the stereotypical repeater.
I plan on running the necropolis, Delera's, and the catacombs, so would appreciate and advice on making level 3-5 stuff that will make it a bit easier since crossbows aren't usually ideal vs undead. I figured the easiest way to do this would be crafting, but if there's a better way I'm open to that too. Someone suggested doing cata first since the rune arm give holy damage.

min lvl 5 with masterful craftsmanship you can make holy of undead bane repeater.
min lvl 9 you can make a holy of greater undead bane
If you want to get fancy you can make a min lvl 5 greater undead bane repeater, and use +1 holy bolts (crafted)
lvl 12 make a triple positive GS repeater
lvl 16 you can use the silver slinger, but I think the GS triple positive is better on most undead except maybe the undead lich boss in stealer of souls.

That's pretty much what I did. If you can find a silver repeater, you can own vamps. Also, if you are ranged only, make a second one with ghost touch of undead bane.

Cool.
When you say min level you just mean the effective after slapping on the enchants, right? Not that I should use a min level shard?
Edit: wanted to ask, when you say silver, is the intrinsic to the weapon, like darkwood or mithril? If so, any suggestion on where to find one?
And what is a 'triple positive'?

Correct.
Once crafted the minimum level needed to use those weapons are as stated.

You don't really need anything fancy to run those. I crafted a screaming of bleed heavy repeater and with your runearm damage + Insightful Damage + Elemental Weapons, you'll rip through those quests. Holy is even better of course.
You don't need to craft either - just look in the AH.
Ghost touch of righteousness (or pure good) works in a pinch against incorporeal stuff too.

I did, there weren't any righteous/good/etc. repeaters (light or heavy) at the time (at least not remotely near my price range), so thought why not look at crafting.
Thanks all.

It is the effective minimum level of the item after crafting, assuming you apply a Shard of Masterful Craftsmanship (need house C favor)

You can just use silver bolts. Don't actually need a silver xbow. Or, you can use holy bolts and apply "weapons of silver" on your xbow.
And what is a 'triple positive'?
This is Greensteel weapon, where you apply Holy/Good Burst/Good Blast on tiers one/two/three to the weapon. It gives you 1 raise dead clicky and also applies "Greater Disruption" to the weapon. It also is just a decent general xbow for an Arti, as you can make it silver/cold iron/adamantine and 98% of mobs take good damage.
