I know that the point of low drop rates on items is to support extended playing in those instanced areas but I think it really has gone too far.
First case in point. I have run the wilderness area Sands of Menechtarun completely through, racking up 100-300 kills per monster type and completing all exploration points on 16 characters (2 Boxing, so 8 times) killing an average of 6 rares each time. I have gotten 1 named drop, the Collapsible Shortbow. ONE! I have gotten a great deal of drops of Thadargix's Gem however which is exclusive and in my opinion should NOT be dropping if you already have this in inventory. I believe this item may be screwing up the loot tables. Please look into it. If anything please make it so it doesn't drop more than once OR that is not exclusive so I can at least sell the extras.
Second case in point. I have run Three Barrel Cove on 4 characters (2 Boxing, so 2 times) since it was re-vamped killing a total of 20 rares and have gotten only 1 named drop, Tiefling Assassin's Blade. I have logged about 6 hours (wasting my time) attempting to find the new items here. I don't understand why the drop rate is so low for such low level items? As a VIP I don't want to have to run through here more than once, but the drop rate makes it so I would have to live here for a few days. Honestly, this reminds me of camping in EQ (20 min spawned camps). Do you want us to hide out in dungeons for 5 min, pop out check rare, then hide back in for 5 min ad nauseum? I don't see any other to realistically gain these items.
Please re-consider your drop rates in Wilderness Areas. Also, I might as well add..please itemize some more of them. That would be great. But only if the drop rate gets raised, otherwise really no point.
