Name Change???!!!!

I did a lesser reincarnation on my wizard to get more spell with the free lesser heart of wood which is irrelevant and Technological now became Technologica ermmmm??....
I can't submit an in game ticket because i haven't purchased points within the last 30 days..............Won't be able too until 2 weeks from now fix please.

Not sure, but it sounds like there is a 12 character limit for names, and your character's name got truncated because of it. Don't know for sure if this is the case, or how you would have gotten around it in the first place. If you have an open character slot, you could try to make a random character just to test the limit of the number of characters allowed for a name.

I don't have an empty character slot and when i purchased my first name change it let me use it in it's proper spelling and i'm not purchasing more points unless it's a guaranteed fix thats what really urks me about this is that i can't receive help unless i buy something but "help" isn't guaranteed. :mad:

ah lol this doesn't surprise me funny that YOU can't change your name during a reincarnation but apparently they can't at their own will...should be interesting to see what they tell you when you submit a ticket my guess is it is not a known issue and to submit a bug report. <closed ticket>

Yea it would be nice if i could get a confirmed fix that way i would be ok with purchasing points however this puts me on the edge of my seat with this game sometimes i ask myself why do i continue to sit here and play this game "because i love it" with the lack of actual customer service.

You cant "Fix" this because its not broken. Names used to be able to have more than 12 characters. Now they cant.

Names used to be able to have lots of flexibility at first over time things go removed from names : ' - ¨ ^, the space and a few other... ( either names or surnames )... And for all the European Refugees, the European specific characters
: ç é è Ã* ï ü ô ö, the Spanish, German, and Scandinavian stuff...

In some case it make Reincarnating characters impossible ( I had friends that coudln't TR and were stuck for weeks waiting for support to fix the characters because of spaces in the surname ).

I have no idea why they created a limit in name lenght especially as we can't reuse old names from characters that have been inactives for 4 years+.

As for the fix... if you name is too long it's too long, there's sadly nothing to fix.

You guys say there is nothing to fix.. I say blasphemy i paid good money on a name change "parchment" from the ddo store to select that name upon my own uniqueness and creativity and when i spend money for something i expect to keep it and have this issue addressed the fact that i still can't have the issue addressed because i haven't bought any points within the last 30 days REALLY chaps my hide.
