I believe that you will first need to earn a repertoire with either the Devs or the Community Team. Then, you'll need to make some particularly witty remark that they notice in order to earn a custom forum title.

They're somewhat rare here. Good luck.

In vBulletin (the forum software used here) titles are;

1) Given by post count
2) Manually entered by a moderator or administrator

It is possible to have both, and the manual entry over rides the post count title. However on the DDO forums there are no titles given for post count, so you have to make a name for yourself in a good way and hope that someone in power notices.

we should have a telethon. things like this improve the quality of life of people. words under forum names save lives. FACT.

You can get them either by participating in certain events or by being a noteworthy/standout member of the community.

Such titles as the Dragonmark of Spooky and I <3 DDO! were won in events. I know that one (I forget the name of the title) was awarded to those who stood out in helping new players after the Unlimited relaunch in 09. Those with Hall of Fame titles are given to those who created threads the Mods felt were worthy of being enshrined in the Hall of Fame sub-form. And then there are those like mine, various Sides of the Cube, Prophet of Llolth, and a few others who earned them by the Mods who felt we'd earned them.


In short, spam won't work out too well. :p

You do realize this course of action is doomed to fail? If they submitted to your badgering, everyone would try it and flood the forums with similar requests. Cordovan and the rest of the forum team will never allow that to happen. Yet, I find your chutzpah endearing and wish you the best. Never gonna happen, but persevere none the less.
