Looking for weapon recommendations...

... while I collect mats to complete my GS Khopeshes.


Short and sweet, but what would you recommend for a human ranger? I dont mind swaping my khopesh feat for now, but as far as quest rewards go Khopeshes are few and far between, even on the AH.

I'm level 16 right now, with a 1rogue 1fighter splash - (Tempest Obviously) 2nd life, just stoned. What do you recommend?

This is my first life using TWF; I am using random assortment of weapons from previous life. I am considering to craft a single +5 holy silver outsider bane weapon. (To use along with turbulent epee, a dr breaker) Or perhaps only a more universal +5 holy silver bleed.

I am not staying TWF, this ranger life is just a way to pick up Shiradi epic destiny for my next (final) artificer life.

Edit: I guess those limb chopper khopeshes from Attack on Stormreach are nice. Or cannith challenge khopeshes.

If you have access to the Cannith challenges, run them for a pair of the level 16 khopeshes. They're nice. You'll find that even at that level, things get paralyzed quite often, and being able to lock down an enemy makes for a lot less self-healing.
And the level 20 epic versions are pretty impressive too with the upgrade to freezing ice.

Very easy to obtain, compared to other epic weapons (i.e. eChaosblades being a good example). So unless you aim to swap to a different weapon type, these will probably be your bread and butter.

Khopeshes also synergize pretty well with Fury of the Wild, if you're thinking of going that route.
The X3 crits can get quite impressive when you're tacking on 400% damage.

The Khopesh that you get from end reward of the chain attack on stormreach upgraded with stonewraps (name) is quite good for lower lvls, if you dont have GS. I made on first life and loved it. But 2nd life didn't use because of dual GS

a couple of GS's are hard to beat. Unless of course you have crafting levels and you can make a burst of greater bane. Then hands down the crafted beaters.

But the challenge khopeshes have improved paralyze which is very nice.

I don't think i'd spend the time crafting the alchy's. Not a huge increase.

New content wise I can't really think of any khopeshes that trump greater crafting or the GS's.
