The issue of not hitting on 1-8 will be fixed for repeaters, which will then be replaced by the slow reload bug so dps will stay the same. True story.

That begs a question for me.. They never explained what exactly the other half is. Half Orc is supposedly half Orc, half human. Half Elf normally the same (seemingly different in eberron though) But what about halflings? One half ling, the other what? Also, would a half halfling half giant be human again? Would a human halfling hybrid be a threequarterling? Is being half something dominant or recessive? So many questions...

Besides this, I also expect some random 20th reward lists broken like abbot was, which will take months to fix if it ever gets done. Oh, and handwraps of course. No patch without breaking handwraps.

Regarding Half-Lings, the one half is the Ling, so the other must be human, acccording to the half-elf and half-orc, which are all cross breeds with humans.

Which means that the Ling must be a tiny creature indead, perhaps some form of sprite or pixie.


On topic, my personal favourite would be the final blow to arties: The repeater finaly misses every single shot (so much for the bug fix ^^).

According to research done by Grimm, Anderson et al. there is a plausible possibility that only female humans with male lings may spawn half-lings (e.g. Daumlings). Research done by Tolkien et al. would suggest other plausible and fertile joinings, like elf and sprite, or dwarf and sprite. No intense reseach was carried out on your topic though, so far.

In the future, there really should be more research on this very important topic. ;)

Maybe lings have exceptionally elastic and flexible bodies.

When logging in for the first time after the patch - your character will have all Plat in it's inventory converted into explosive damage taken. Money stored in Shared Banks will apply that number of explosive damage to all characters sharing that bank. The plat destroyed in the process.

Things that will be broken:

1) The Abbot raid
2) Melee to-hit on rolls of 2-8 will be auto-misses
3) Half-elves will no longer be able to show helmets or goggles
4) Ship buffs.... again!
5) The "D" key on my computer will break too, since the devs are just that awesome.

oh and my guess on what will be broken NEXT: wf energy drain imunity, hell they broke/nerfed everything else so why not!

what will be broken still: half elf dragon mark of storm beign severly weakened rather than strengthened by air savant... no one seems to care.... no one loves the house lyrandar gimps. (bug reported every update since savants came out, wrote a few threads, still no word)

Personally, I think you missed the fun we made of Lings, but nice digest.

OH OH OH! MR KOTTER! OH!

Half orc will be shortened to elf height for being in the way when casters are trying to target things.
Halflings will be tall so you can always see them.
All NPCs will be shrunk down to the size of the critters in the kings forest and made 2x as fast so you can never target them and made 3x as powerful.
All of your hotbars will have to be reset every time you log in
All melee weapons will have a durability of 1 so you will have to fill your inventory with weapons so you cant carry any loot.
all armor for any class that can hide will instantly glow bright pink when they try to hide
Druids with turn into teddy bears and puppies
PMs undead form will instantly age 500 years so that they crumble to dust upon transformation
And all cosmetic pets will become the masters and make you do stupid tricks.


But that's just a guess.

You will be able to run every quest on epic elite at any level but you will get no XP or favor and all of the loot you collect will autodrop when you leave the quest.
