Can we buy the underdark Standard edition pack, with any form of currency that doesn't require me to have online money? I buy things on DDO with the game cards you can get at gamestop, but apparently the underdark expansion packs don't like that.

Is there any way to work around this, and if not, what would a 16 year old do to pay for the expansion online so he can get all those wonderful goodies? :P

Wait until the Update 15 then you can buy the expansion with TP's.

Ah, but I'll have to buy them seperately, right?

Also, parents aren't an option, they don't approve of online gaming. Or gaming at all...

If phrased properly (as many of us playing DDO are parents), your parents would most certainly rather know where you were (at home playing DDO), than wonder if you were out discovering some of the less savory parts of life and possibly making bad decisions in the process. At the end of the day, it is all in how you explain it to them :)

With that in mind...

Visa Gift Card (lets you pay cash and get a 'Visa').

Online or phone purchases
To make an online or phone purchase, you will need to register your card.

To register, either call the issuer, or visit their website. This information should have been supplied to you by the issuer when you received the card. It may also be printed on the back of the card.
When you make an online or phone purchase, the name, address, and phone number you use will need to be exactly the same as the information you provided when registering your card in order to avoid declines
You can verify or update your information by visiting the card issuer's Web site, or by contacting them using the toll-free number provided in your card materials.

Walgreen's offers a pre-paid card
WalMart offers a pre-paid card

PayPal lets you get a MasterCard (Debit Card linked to your account).

Other countries have different options available (Australia, for example) http://auspost.com.au/personal/loadandgo-reloadable-prepaid-visa-card.html

Certain banks offer bank accounts if you are at least age 16 (you do not require your parent's permission for this). With that in mind, I strongly suggest that any permanent or semi-permanent decisions you make, like opening a bank account, be discussed with your parents - both because it is their prerogative as your providers to be made aware of these things, but also because, being older than you, they are likely far more aware of all the creative ways banks have to legally take your money every month once you have entrusted it to them.

Anyway, good luck :)
