Since no one has poison or disease immunity any longer (and since I've given up trying to get Turbine to change this back), you should review the poisons and diseases that were previously designed KNOWING that they DID exist. For example, pit fiends such as Arraetrikos, Nytherios, etc. Some of these can cause death on a failed save. I was in a NORMAL Tower of Despair run, and on part 2 I got drained from a 30 con down to 0 between heals. Having 150ish hps as a maximum and taking 50% extra damage from 1 or 2 failed saves is not reasonable

i cant remember the last time i worried about proof against poison, before or after the change, and it never made a difference to me. dont you have to fail a second fort save to get the -10000 to con or whatever it is? the 'cause death' is due to con being dropped below 0, but since that no longer happens it's moot, carry restore pots, trust your healers, or just use the Soturi method and selfishly ignore anything that goes on around you and do moar dps.

On the other hand, shouldn't special attacks/abilities be something to fear from a being that hails from the Nine Hells? I would rather be fearful of these from such a powerful creature vs the blanket immunities we had against them.

Yea, you got the short end of the stick/save on that one, sorry. It sucks, it's part of adventuring now and I personally like it. However, there are a great many things that we, the player characters, can do to help mitigate that via item and spell.

An unprepared adventurer is a dead one.
