5. What is a DDO VIP?

Sounds important, right? Well, it is. DDO VIPs are players who want unlimited access to all of the content DDO has to offer. This newly optional subscription program also allows its gamers to enjoy a number of other exclusive benefits, such as a monthly grant of Turbine Points, priority access to servers, the ability to play all classes and races, additional character slots, a shared bank slot, and much more. The cost of becoming a DDO VIP is only $14.99 per month. Learn more by clicking here!

Okay this is why I signed up for VIP... Now you've gone and said screw you we lied you don't get unlimited access. Even though I've been paying on a regular consistent basis. VIPs aren't allowed access to MoTU except for the worst content possible? Horrible challenges that give the most worthless rewards you can think of? You gave us access to the eveningstar challenges like that would make it all better when they're the ugly redheaded stepchild. Why should I bother with these they're worthless except for the first time run for exp and they're not even great exp at that either.

So I need to know how this is going to be rectified? Will VIPs be granted double TP for a period so we can pay for this stuff with our stipend like with artificer? Do we just have to out wait you until you give VIPs access as should be? OR is this a permanent deal with nothing to VIPs to make this up?... If it's the last I definitely need to know since I am no longer receiving what I'm paying for and if I am not receiving what I'm paying for then I should pack up before I put work in towards my 4th life on my TR and invest more time and money when I can play another game where I ACTUALLY receive what I'm promised.

And when you actually click on the link in the faq, it takes you to the VIP page where they clearly state expansions aren't included in your VIP Membership.

1 Terms & Conditions Apply. Does not include expansion packs. Content and offers may vary and are subject to change.

So I'm sorry to say this but they didn't lie to you, you are indeed getting what you payed for.

Well there is now very little point to be a Vip... Tho maybe it will change, for now premium + all packs is cheaper and gives all the same. Well you can open elites on 1st lifers with vip but 1st lifers dont relly need elite bb.

Semantics... Tell me what difference is there in this "expansion" and a "major patch"? Other then by changing the wording you can change the way payment works?

I've only played for around 6 months. If I cancel my subscription now no I won't of payed more I would of saved over the people who "buy" the game. Because yes if I cancel my sub I won't be able to play any content which essentially means I'll be moving on to another game where a subscription means something.

But yes I love that you two feel so bothered to reply to me. I posted for customer service to answer a question I don't care about the opinion of another player on my payment method. I wanted an official answer on the issue so I could decide whether to hit the cancel subscription button now or wait until nearly the end of my subscription to hit it and see what happens.

I'm also "bothering to reply" due to a few issues with your OP (original post).

Semantics aside, further reading on your part would have seen that the expansion costs money beyond a subscription. In addition, this issue has been brought up numerous times on the forms and also says this is the case when you buy it or subscribe to VIP (expansions not included.....).

Two, you posted and got (seemingly upset) about people responding and that you were only waiting for a CS response. It's Sunday. For a company based on the East Coast of the US this usually means a day off. Devs/admins don't post on the weekends except right when the expansion came out. Waiting until or posting during the week may have had better success. Also, if you're looking for customer service, did you go to the Game support page? Individual CS issues aren't usually handled on the forums and require a call to Turbine.

Best of luck with your concern, but if you "don't care about the opinion of another player" don't post in a public forum when the support info is provided.

Thanks for the suggestion I've been in no mood to talk to a person over the phone since I've had a headache all day or I would of. Also I was under the belief one had to at least be premium to post in the customer service section so it isn't exactly totally public but no I didn't say people couldn't post... I'm just saying it's lovely they care so much but I'm ignoring their opinion because I wasn't asking them hence short posts. I'm normally long winded.
