Pale Master Set- does it not work?

I went from no potency items to the pale master set, thinking my neg energy would double damage (90 spell power)

however, there was no change whatsoever to damage :/. At first i thought perhaps potency was not applicable for these spells, but wearing a normal potency item netted me the expected increase (in this case the lv 16 cove dagger)

so is the PM set just bug? does it not stack with the bonus from the enhancement? what gives? :/

Do any of your other gear pieces have a spell power bonus to negative energy spells?

In particular, the Maban docent/robe has the same spell power, so if you have that, then the ToD Pale Master set won't do you any good.

Dumb question here, but did you upgrade the set?

And do you have the Pale Master 3 enhancement?

Otherwise, you're talking only a 30% increase in damage, or so I'm figuring.

I have PM III, i've not upgraded the ring with any stats :/

None of the set bonus Spell Power items are currently working. With any luck that will be fixed before too long.
