Cleave misbehaves with quarterstaffs

Currently cleave (and great cleave, and supreme cleave) behaves differently with quarterstaff than with other thf weapons, (greatsword, greataxe, greatclub, maul, bastard sword with shield, dwarven axe with shield, etc) in that quarterstaff cleaves don't proc glancing blows as they should.

This has been a problem for over a year and has significant impact on some (acrobat) builds that do a lot of cleaving.

Frankly, I found the animation for cleave with a quaterstaff to be the big killer. It takes so long to hit with cleave compared to standard attacks, that I found it to be completely worthless and switched it out for something else.

Might be slow, but I don't notice cleave being slower on quarterstaff than on greataxe. lack of glancing blows is a problem though, given how often I use cleave on acrobats to get multiple sneak attacks. I love cleave, but no glancing blows is a problem.

i don't think you're supposed to get glancing blows on a cleave with *any* weapon. are you certain you actually get them with those other weapons that you mentioned?

Yes, and yes you're supposed to get glancing blows on cleaves on any weapon that works with the THF feat chain. It grants glancing blows on all weapons except quarterstaff, and thats a huge hit for staff users that cleave. It drives me nuts on my acrobat barbarian right now.

I've tried it on the training dummy with greataxe, maul, greatsword, greatclub, falchion, dwarven axe and shield , bastard sword and shield. I've tried it on groups of mobs also. Glancing blows proc correctly for all THF feat chain weapons except quarterstaffs and its quite frustrating for me considering I filed this bug last year and I'm fairly enamored with my staff user... except now its better for him to just use a falchion.
