I think elite spellcaster/damage is WAI, even if it's just temporary. We've all just jumped to this conclusion but really, we've had a good slice of humble-pie coming for a while now. If you ask me, plenty of motivation on these boards for the devs to hit a few keys...change a few numbers...and remind us all about who really pwns who here.

Professionalism requires that they deny it. But just think of it as a much more sophisticated version of what angry food preparers across this nation do on a regular basis to the food we order.

Yep, It's all smoke and mirrors. I'm of the opinion that Scroll/Wand devotion spell power amp is 100% WAI as well. That "bug" has been steadfastly ignored by dev comments, and of course will be reverted back to normal soon, but it serves it's purpose of softening the blow to divines quite well for now.

It's actually a common strategy...nerf, boost, help, or hinder in the extreme, so when it's "backed off" everyone is appeased. Basic human nature...Turbine is guilty of this....and so are we.
