Is weapon focus a prequisite?

Ok i just hit lvl 24 and then got to thinking i should of stayed at lvl 23 while working my 2nd destiny so i wouldnt get the xp hit,so i used my free LR and for some reason none of my feats are showing what prequisites are needed.


Im playing a pure monk and was wondering why on earth i even took that particular feat is it a prequisite for something or did i just pick it up at 3 am on a weekend half asleep?

Weapon Focus: Slashing is a pre-req for Whirling Steel Strike.

Other than that, +1 to hit might have seemed like a good idea at a low level?

Whew just glad i can drop it i ended up at 39 dex and picked dodge/improved martial arts as my 2 epic lvl feats and hoped i could swap weapon focus bludgeoning for dodge and then pick up great dexterity to even out my dex to 40 afterall that would give me a extra +1 to hit anyway.

it is, iirc, a prereq for overwhelming critical. not sure if you were planning on taking overwhelming critical, but if you were, that's probably why you had weapon focus.
