Is there any way to tell which optionals you have finished already?

Hit X and its at the bottom of the chart, completed will have a * next to them.

Actually I mean for the first time bonus....I know how to check the ones you get each time your questing but you only get the one time huge bonus when you complete and optional for the first time.

I am just trying to finish first time optionals for XP for my ED's.

Is it for each optional? I thought it was for total stars, regardless of which optionals you did. ie 1,2,3 is worth "X". If you do it again but with 1,4,5 you won't get any bonus. You need to get 4 or 5 stars.

Gah...should have just went to the wiki...I was never too big on these things and misunderstood how the XP bonuses worked.

It is per star.....not per optional achieved......so once you have done say three stars in a run you'll have to do four in a run to get more bonus XP regardless of which optionals you complete.

I don't know if it's just me...but are these things pretty much meant for full parties.......I can usually muster 2 or 3 a run and that's it.

I do not know if it has changed since the update, but they were absolutely NOT for parties. Scaling is brutally overzealous in these things. Run with more than 2 people and face 4x the mobs with 3x the hp each.

The ideal is a small party, actually. Its very hard to get the optionals solo for most players, but very large parties tend to scale to make it overall harder.

Two to three players (not cats or henchment) is always where I've had the most success.
