View Full Version : Radiant Servant Aura: Inconsistent for anyone else.

My cleric's aura has been really inconsistent of late. Sometimes it hits for 27 per tick. Other times it ticks for 22, 26, or 29. I am not swapping gear or changing buffs/enhancements. I am not sure if it started with U14 or patch 1 since I had not played him for a while.
Anyone else noticed this behavior?
I have also noticed the aura will not start without a target. It can be a mob, hireling, another player or my character...soft or hard targeted.

question: does the inconsistency happen when you die?

I don't have variations in the numbers, but I have the target bug too. I will report it as soon as my "report bug" is no more bugged.

I noticed it the last couple of days. I didn't think much about it since I don't use my cleric much, but it really should pop the same number on a target shouldn't it?

Yep, the target bug is new. The change in numbers could be an equipment issue. What heal amp and devotion items do you have? You may also want to reset your enhancements. They bugged at U14 for lots of RS.

Happens to me as well. I notice it after I die. I have to re-equip shiona's pendant (potency necklace from amarath) and then all is fine with my aura again.
The targeting issue began with u14. I hope they fix this, as well as the burst targeting issue at the same time. I hate having to smack my f1 key before using them!

Healing Aura requires a target - noticed that. I'm so used to selecting myself before using healing burst that it is simply habit.
Variable base value of aura - noticed that too, but the problem went away. I seem to have fixed it by getting naked, turning off all metas, logging out, and logging back in.

PS: By getting naked, I mean my character was naked. Not me personally. I remained fully clothed, and cannot say whether player nudity contributes to a character's base healing aura. Wait a sec, I'll try real quick.

Don't let that stop you.

I am using an Alchemist's Crown which is +72 Devotion. I do swap it out with a +200 mana cove hat.
I currently have +20% heal amp from Enhancements and 10% from ship buffs.
Enhancements were reset when I used the free Lesser Reincarnation.

I have also had this problem. I have even taken off all my gear just for testing and this is still happening. My auras numbers go up and down. My bursts also seem to "bug out" from time to time. I had my burst heal a guildy for 18hp. I know that there not a set number like the aura however, he was first off a human with no heal amp and my lvl 14 cleric at the time had max, emp and emp heal.

Yes, they made the old bug even worse. Before, it would just not go off. Now it doesn't go off and costs a turn attempt. On the plus side, it fails A LOT less than it used to. I only seem to be able to reproduce it immediately after an instakill, so when NOTHING is targeted. Even if something is 'soft' targetted it seems to work, so just something gets in the way of my target (I don't select anything) it's enough not to bug out. Which is most of the time, unless I"m going crazy with the instakills.
