Can someone flip the switch in the store. My daughter is almost in tears you haven't started the druid sale! You don't want to make a child cry do you?

/signed.

And not because I want to buy the druid, but because I don't want a little girl to be sad :(

Unfortunately

Due to some technical issues we've had to postpone the Druid sale :( We're working to correct the issue so that we can bring the special back. The free trial is still available, so at least you have more time to try out the druid and decide if you like it first. Will bring more information on the special as soon as we have it.

Great, make a girl cry. Boo!

Thanks for info though. I missed that.

Is the trial available as a TR option or only for new characters?

Druid is a trap. It's good at low levels but pretty lame at high. Make a clonk and you'll be happier.

Money well saved.
I'm sorry kids are crying... but...

The druids are still in lamebo. Hopefully they get some needed buffs before they hit the store.

Fixed. When I tried it in bear form, I felt like an old woman.

Bear form is fail to begin with, anything that doesn't get things dead faster is counter to the purpose most people run quests, to get XP. Wolf is pretty much the way to go until you get wall of fire, then you can burn necropolis like a champ. In gianthold you're back in wolf form for cold breath. After gianthold though you really start to notice the lack of group heals, lack of CC, lack of debuffing like enervation and lack of additional instakills for when your finger fails or you have lots of mobs. Your melee spells start to fail. You start to realize cold breath doesn't work with water elemental form which would actually boost it to still be a useful spell but you're SOL. You can still plow through vale but it's frustrating and you'll be starting to look at the other classes and thinking you might be better off. After vale, yeah, time to reroll.

Tell your daughter that this is an object lesson. You don't always get what you want.

i was under the impression it wasnt going to be in the store until mid august when update 15 comes around, but there is a 2day trial period, think you just need to create a character and select it, no need to buy anything.

from the ddostore advertisement

For those who do not already own the Druid, head over to the Character Creator and create one during the free account from July 13th-15th! After the trial ends, your character will be locked.

They changed their mind, and will be offering Druid earlier then originally stated. They'd be in the Store now, if not for the technical issues Tolero mentions above in the quote.

Personally, I think the trial for Druids should be offered indefinitely, but with a two-day per-account time limit. That way, people could know what they are buying, and not risk buyer's remorse after the fact. That is exactly what won't happen... but I think it's what should.

What they said is that the druid won't be available for TP until August, the druid was supposed to be available today in the Marketplace.

Yes, the Druid is now available in the in the DDO Market (http://store.turbine.com/store/turbine/en_US/pd/ThemeID.29252200/productID.253560400/categoryID.58516100 ). We've also extended the 20% sale for the weekend.

So am I to understand that Druids are only available for 20 bucks from the DDO Market and not with TP from the DDO Store?

Correct, they have said several times now that the purchase of MoTU stuff with TP will coincide with the release of U!5 in August.

Alright, thank you for the clarification. Lame but cleared up. Thought this was some dealio. 20 Bucks for druids is NOT a dealio.
