They aren't applying the 40% equipment bonus they should. Bug report:

The wrath of sora kell item set from attack of stormreach isn't giving the +40% spell power to spells it should be, testing on level 14 arti, with no enchantments. With no items on she hits for 60ish on blast rod, with peashooter that has potency it hits for 78, with wrath of sora kell set she was hitting for 60ish again.

Not clear. May be WAI, not a bug.

Sora Kell item set provides an EQUIPMENT bonus to spell power.
Peashooter also provides an EQUIPMENT bonus to spell power.

Like named bonus types do not stack.

I might be mis reading your post tho. Are you saying complately naked cept the cept bonus your damage does not increase?

Fairly sure he means that taking the peashooter off and putting the set on, he was dealing the same damage as without any spell boosting items on.
