Was doing a level 5 quest on elite. Buddy noticed his dog was donig 60+ for base hits, he has augment summons. I summoned my dog, who does not, was doing 55 base hits plus extra damage.

Heh, they probly screwed up the code so that epic level dogs are somehow being summoned at lower level.

No I am guessing they messed up base die damage. everything else is the same.

I hardly used my arti pet, it was buggy and basically annoying and useless. Might be worth keeping alive and using it if it does some real damage now. I'm sure it will get nerfed back to uselessness soon enough though.

Doing Devil Assault on Normal yesterday and my level 7 dog (I do have Augment Summons) was critting for ~150.

It's kinda nice being able to pike a solo quest lol

I'm level 5, have augment summoning, and saw my wolf do 115 last night. Saw a couple other hits in the low 100's and was kinda impressed. I also just found out (this is my first pet) that your pet can get the energy resistance and stat buffs from the ship, which of course stack with any spells you may have to throw on them like bulls strength and bears endurance. Makes for a nice companion, at lower levels anyway. Can't speak for the higher levels yet.
