stuck on "cleaning up old connection"

ok i've been stuck on the same screen for 5 minutes now and i can't get to my character selection

I had this yesterday. Tried the "standard" Windows solution of reboot the computer, and it worked after that.

well the client just lost connection and i re-logged on and now i can select my characters wonder whats wrong with launcher
