Seriously, video games are a lot like marriages. If you don't know what's wrong with them, you don't know what you're getting into. And every game and marriage has problems. The two great tricks are learning what they are, and learning to live with them.

We're having an official launch party in the office and I'm officially drunk.

With that out of the way, we're very aware of how forum population is and is not representative of the entire game's population because we have data. Lots and lots of data. And yes, we're aware of the issues, and we're fixing them!

And we still read forums, whether you complain or not!

Your issues are our issues. We're here for you guys. You put bread on our tables for the fun we put on your screen.

Argo is back up but shipbuffs are gone again. TBH I feel really bad for the devs atm, they're going to have to deal with one hell of a ****storm from some of the more.... "passionate" players heheh

As the primary ship buff buyer for my guild I was really fortunate. My pattern is to extend all buffs to a full month each 1st, so losing them on the 25th wasn't a huge hit. After the first wipe on Monday I only bought enough to extend to the 1st, so this second wip didn't lose me too much either.

I feel for everyone who just extended for a month right before xpack, then again right after, then losing them again. That hurts.

And note that not everyone was at a launch party today. Sorry for the issues with Argo. The world has been back online for a while now, and will be monitored closely.

You don't have to say what, I'm just curious if there is even a discussion about this to help out. Thanks

As i already said i dont care about the TP, i care about the ingame plat. TP is real money, ingame plat is basically something you aquire for time played. By wiping our ships three times a week youre basically annihilated a lot of time played, especially for some non powergaming guilds or casual players. A freind of mine with only two characters, one of whom hes constantly Tring has now spend 300k plat on guildship amenities, and he hasnt even put up the newest batch, simply because he cannot afford it.

Yes, there are players out here with 10 platcapped toons, but thats simply not everybody.

You wasted a LOT of players time, and there are many persons out here who value invested time much more then a few tp for maybe one xp shrine.

So not only the plat we dumped reloading the ship for another month that was wiped again I have to call customer service and waste 2 hours of my life on hold to get back the points I spent reloading the 5% Xp shrine...ugh....

Then let the people with too much plat give it to our guild so we can rent our amenities YET AGAIN. Plat sinks are not as big a problem for rich accounts as they are for accounts with less wealth. And BTW, I am not seeing any downward trend in the AH prices as a result of this "plat sink". For people like me, this has been an unmitigated BAD THING.
