SO since it's no longer Lamannia I thought this thread would get more response in this section rather than the beta section, I'm a bard fatesinger, and I was curious on which mobs Bound Fate affects? Basically what it does is hold the target for 2 seconds and apply a heavy debuff for a minute, although this works on most, if not all red named mobs in the expansion, using it on Lailat on epic hard difficulty proved her to be immune.
Since the debuff is so strong ( 15%+ magical/physical damage taken, -8 damage, -12 spell resistance, I really want to make sure that most bosses are immune to it before deciding to take the other ability, Turn of the Tide instead.
Has anyone else tried to use it on a boss like harry, horoth, lailat or LOB?

It's supposed to be working on everything, bosses included. If something is immune to it, bug report it.

Will do then.
Has anyone confirmed that the Grim Fate upgrade of Bound Fate has a significantly lower DC than Bound Fate? I was told it's not affected by your perform skill, unlike Bound Fate, which is. If it did then it's not worth taking on a low-cha warchanter melee bard, imo.
I'm not too fond of Turn of the Tide either though tbh, 10 minute cooldown for 20 seconds of awesome is too unsustained, especially when the magical damage doesnt affect bosses.

I should mention... because it is a 'song' any lingering song type buffs you may have increases that durration as well... Including... Other songs from Fatesinger.

Bound fate shouldn't be affected by your perform skill either (still has very high DC nonetheless), along with all the other songs with DC from fatesinger (remember, the destiny is made to not be bard only, and perform based DC is, well, bard only). On lama, grim fate had a different DC then Bound (much lower, was somewhere around 30 DC), not sure if they fixed that on live yet, haven't lvled enough to check.
Also, all songs from fatesinger are affected by lingering song enhancements, including Turn of the Tide (but not song add-ons like fragment of valor and such, due to technical difficulties. Breca mentioned wanting it to work like the other songs, but till he gets it to work we're stuck with 4 minute buffs). It was lasting 48 seconds fro my bard on lam, which is pretty darn nice. Still think the cooldown could use being a bit lower though, like 5 minutes perhaps, considering the bonus damage doesn't apply to bosses.

I have a fully specked Fatesinger and cant see any additional damage, Red named or otherwise. I droped the Bound fate completely.
I sure would love to get some confirmation from a Developer on this.

I have Grim/Bound on my 12 base CHA Warchanter, and it works.

There is a bug on Grim Fate (I believe Rank 2, if I recall) where it wasn't working. It is one of the fixes in line for the patch.
Bound Fate will not enchain creatures with no effective limbs to chain...

I can confirm some bosses that Bound Fate works on and some that it doesn't:
Works on:
LOB
Does not work on:
Lailat
Harry
Suulo
Horoth
This includes both effects, and by affecting I mean if the debuff actually works, shows the chain animation and shows the debuff while examining the boss.

Considering they all have limbs (what doesn't besides oozes? can't think of anything. bats?), that sounds bugged to me.

Elementals *shouldn't* (iirc all elementals are as amorphous or rigid as they choose), but DDO earth elementals were vulnerable to earthgrab for the longest time. So, in the words of Cole Porter, "Anything goes."
