Several months back, Kyosho's ring dropped for someone. They put it up for roll. It went something like this:

Lucky Dude: Kyosho's Ring - roll 1d89
I roll 65
Somebody: blah blah blah
Somebody else: blah blah blah!
Somebody rolls 34
Indecisive Man rolls 78
Innocent Bystander rolls 59
<pause>
Lucky Dude: Indecisive Man wins!
Indecisive Man: Actually, I don't need it. Please pass it to the second highest roller.
Lucky Dude passes the ring to Innocent Bystander.
Me: Uhhh... I was the second highest roller. And Innocent Bystander has already left the quest. :-(
Lucky Dude: Oh... you're right. I'm really sorry.

More recently, I got a Stone of Experience. Naturally, I started thinking about TRing, but I needed just 5 more ToD completions to hit the magic 20! Unfortunately, everyone else did TR, which means I've had terrible luck finding ToD groups. I still need 3 more ToD completions.

The latest update has a bug that causes everyone's client to crash when one of the horned devils uses Binding Chains. Or at least that's what everyone /tell'd me when I put up an LFM.

Do I hold out hope that the bug will be fixed soon, so that I can get my 3 completions before the Stone of Experience self-destructs? Or do I suck it up and TR now?

The stones don't expire until August.

If the bug doesn't get fixed before the stones expire, use the stone. If not, wait for the bug to get fixed. I think you'll regret not waiting later when you're on your 17th run next life and thinking "man if I had just waited before I TR'd..."

Definitely wait. The stone expire on something like August 20th - you can bet they will be hotfixing the chains client crash - not reasonable to have TOD, VOD and (I think) LOB (doesn't something chain in there?) out of business.

17 tods is a lot of time invested...for a mere 3 more i'd try and run it....+4 tomes are nice...
