Platypus.
This noble creature should become the next cosmetic companion, as it is perfectly suited to the role of looking awesome.

Ah, but platypuses can provide both the first and the second breakfast for any character, due to the fact that they lay eggs.

The next cosmetic companion should be this well-deserving creature.

I'd be careful with that cow though. All kinds of boss monsters appear when you mess with them. ;)

The next cosmetic companion should be a... miniature giant space hamster, hands down.

I don't care what it is, just make it so the owner passing by my mouse pointer (and becoming soft targeted) doesn't close any NPC dialogue box I happen to be reading at the time, like it does now.

I have decided to revise my original statement...
The next cosmetic companion would be incredible as a platypus; however, imagine a platypus knight in full plate and wielding a flaming sword riding a bigger platypus.

Platypi?
Sure, people were asking for scarier monsters- and how can it get scarier than a platypus?

1- Dragon - After Game of Thrones who wouldn't want their own tiny dragon companion? :)
2- Mimic - Just the visual of tiny chest monsters following people around makes me smile. The naming possibilities for your own mimic makes this a must have companion too.
3- Djinn - I see lots of possibilities here too.

Earth Ele that was on Lama- I liked his rocky clomps toddling behind me.
Miniature Warforged- I'll buy one for all my halflings
Pit Fiend
Doomsphere
Marilith
Caravan- I want a little tiny caravan to travel behind me, and I want it's trick to flash red and make that crunching noise it does when they're hit.
Mephit- Trick? "GRR! ARR! *poooofspray*"
Little tiny Eternal Wizard that makes itty bitty firewalls and shoots pin-sized magic missiles into the distance.
Ooze

Gelatinous Cubelet, please.
