True Reincarnation and Stat Tomes

I have not played DDO in a year and a half but was excited for the expansion. I bought the expansion and got one of the nifty new instant pop to level 16 from level 8 stones.

Figured I would True Reincarnate my old character and go back and play the low level content that i had not played in a long time.

I have had a blast for the past week banging up to level 8 and then jumping to 16. I was planning out my path to 20 but I ran into a weird thing i can't find an answer to.

In my previous life I had +2 stat tomes for all my stats (at least... I think I had a 3 for wis).

Figuring my stat tomes were wiped out for my new life, I grabbed a +2 wis one on the Action house and tried to use it. I get a "not usuable You already have this bonus" message when I click it. When i look at my stats, I have a "+2 inherent bonus" listed.

Is that my tome bonus carried over?

This is your previous stat tome. Recently turbine made it where your stat tomes stayed after you TR. You get the bonuses at the various levels when you could eat a +1, +2 etc tomes.

Oh I didn't feel like looking up the levels for the stat increases for the tomes the other night, but here they are :you would get a +1 inherent bonus at level 3, +2 at level 7, and +3 at level 11.
