Is that how turbine is doing things in Lotro?

Basically I am very afraid that they are trying to morph ddo into a lotro clone.

I tried lotro, and well lets just say it was deleted after a very short period of time.

I loved LOTRO for the year I played it. I managed to get two characters to 65 (one took all of 8 months to do it as I scratched and clawed my way to the top with him and it was not pleasurable) but I felt something missing so I came back to DDO (left u5 first day and came back u10.1). Give me LOTRO with the current combat system of DDO and I would not have came back.

Now as far as this power thing goes I don't see any similarity (I played a Runekeeper (loved him the most), Loremaster, Minstrel, Burglar, and a Warden) but what I will tell you is that in 8 months of time there has been two expansions in LOTRO and for me that is just too fast. My fear is that DDO will go this route as I know of at least two more expansions for DDO in the works (have your credit cards ready) and I sort of like to take things slower than most players.
