View Full Version : Preordered Underdark, curious about the Bound status of Greater Tome of Learning

I'd like to use the Greater Tome of Learning on the Druid I will create once Underdark is released. If I use the ticket on my Rogue (who already has a greater tome) will he be able to drop it into the shared bank, or do I have to avoid using the ticket on all characters until I can do it on my Druid?

The underdark ticket says the first character who uses it on my account will receive the greater tome of learning. But, if I haven't used it yet, can I transfer it to another character?

The Tome is BTC, so you will need to resist using the ticket at all until you make the character you want to receive the best goodies. Not TR'ing a Wizard into a Druid?

Every character you have will get a ticket - including new ones. You don't have to move the ticket around. But the first character you use the ticket on gets the better xp tome.

The Tomes of Experience are Bound to Character. You will not be able to give it to any other character. However, when you create your Druid, they will get their own Lesser Tome of Learning. If you want, you can by an upgrade Tome in the DDO Store to make it a Greater Tome of Learning.

that's assuming you get the collector's edition

unless you're telling me all druid that gets created when expansion pack comes out gets created with a lesser tome

Jay203 and Da Voyd (the CSR rep) are correct.

If you purchased the Collectors Ed. every character you create will have access to a lessor tome of Learning.
The FIRST character for each server will have Access to the +20% Tome.

(This is of course is assuming that you purchased the Collectors ED.)

If Not then you will need to refrain from using your Tome until you roll a Druid. :eek:
