Just imagine what the folks are Turbine are saying to one another today. They are getting pummeled with complaints about how large guild bounties aren't working with the XP stones.
The vast majority of TRs aren't even supposed to qualify for the large bounties according to the text of the Build Your Guild event. It's a bug that the Devs allowed to continue.
So put away your pitch forks and torches please.
PS. don't meta-critc my mathfu. It's sufficiently correct enough to make my point.

Since it's been a butthurt factory here today, thought you guys/gals might like to see how Blizzard is doing with their own mass mutiny concerning Diablo 3:

The general forums over there are on fire and have been for months.

Personally I could care less about problems with D3, no interest. I do ,however, care about DDO.
I also don't care about the build your guild event renown I would lose.
I DO care about possibly being screwed over on which character and when I use a stone of experience. That is the only complaint I want to pummel Turbine devs with right now.

Actually, everyone here likes to point over at Diablo 3 and Blizzard and how it's doing. Their situation is just a good example of what would happen if DDO was ever mainstream. It shows a similar lack of polish, early release dates, and hurt production because of those early release dates. This is how it would be accepted by people who haven't learned to accept the "charming imperfections" that DDO, and Diablo 3, has displayed. Heck, can you imagine what it would be like if people started demanding refunds of Turbine? lol...
EDIT:
Though I agree with your actual point. Huge amount of grind reduced. Only issue is the one mentioned before, apparently it's easy to ninja level a character. Not fun at all if you weren't going for it.
That said, all these grind-reduction changes/promotions are extremely popular. Hopefully this gives a clue to Turbine...
