Yesterday, tried to solo Undermine (Hard) on a second life Sorc, no twink. It owned me...twice. The minefield with all the extra archers and gnoll warpriests...not pretty. Big spike in difficulty from the same quest run on 'normal' imo.

Worst part, I was character level above the quest level at the time :(

If you can't sneak through the minefield (to avoid the mines), then your best bet is to jump over it (on the platforms) while invisible.

There is a safe path through by jumping on the ledges and bridges. You need haste, jump, feather fall, and of course invisibility. I don't have a video to link to so I'll try to explain. You start on the far right side, so some mines have to be cleared. You can jump up the first ledge that hugs the right wall. Then you can jump to the left and towards the main area (where all the mobs are). As you enter the main area jump onto the first ledge with a mob on it, then right onto the bridge that hugs the right wall. Run along that to the end, then jump left onto a ledge with a lot of mobs on it. Then just keep jumping on ledges that run down the middle, toward the end of the room. It takes all of 15 seconds if you don't slow down or get cometfalled down.

Problem I think most people have there is lag created by all those mines. That room gets choppier than shadow crypt with Shadow stencils on full blast for some people.

thanks for the suggestions. As I sorc, I tried to nuke my way thru it both times which, as I stated was total failsauce.

This is one of my favorite quests in the game to zerg with friends on elite. Laying down mines trying to blow eachother up. If you die its kind of us just laughing at you tell you to zerg faster. Someone almost always eats dust in the mine room. Doesnt help that my buddies and I run evasion toons that can run through setting off mines and not die.

Fun quest. . .

Now soloing assault on summerfield Elite at level on a melee is hard as hell. I went in just to test his to-hit when I got back to cap and he was hitting on 73 ac more than trash in Elite amarath
