On a Greater Stalwart trinket, it says it has Earthen Guard with a chance of Stone Skin when attacked. What is the "chance"? 1 out of 100, 1 out of 1000, or I have a better chance at winning the lottery? Thanks!

don't hold me on this but it goes off on a regular basis..

it must be around 5% to 10%.. it's def one of the better guards out there espcially on a low lvl toon where 70 absorb 10/- dr is huuuuge if you got like 80 hp yourself ^^.

I estimate it is somewhere in 5-15% range. Whenever I melee with that trinket, I get Stoneskin within minutes.

Yes. At low levels it is incredible. Even at high levels I often start combat with Greater Stalwart Trinket, then switch to something else after Stoneskin procced.

I have a level 5 bard wearing one right now. While levelling from 4 to 5, it went off almost every time I engaged a clump of mobs. It's definitely worth crafting and wearing, if that's what you're lookin' for .

Great trinket to have for just about any toon.

I guess it will come in handy when I tr. I wish that you could upgrade it more instead of using it for that armor.

What class/level are you now, and what trinkets do you normally wear?

In my experience, a caster outlevels Greater Stalwart Trinket fairly quickly. Pearl of Power X is more valuable, although you might still want to put GST on when low on mana. But Sustaining Symbiont, let alone Eardweller, beats GST hands down. Once my bard got Sustaining Symbiont (ML 15), he never put on GST.

For a melee it is a different story. On my ranger I wore GST all the way to level 20. Not continuously -- as I said, I would shrine with GST on, and once Stoneskin appeared would switch to either Nighthag Heartstone or crafted Superior Devotion trinket. I put it permanently into bank only after getting Epic Mabar Cloak. Which serves the function of both GST and Nighthag Heartstone :)

I've got a lvl 12 monk and a lvl 13 fighter so both can benefit from the trinket. Can't wait to try the Epic Brawling Gloves on my monk.

I tend to switch to Sustaining as soon as I can, also. Situationally putting the GST on, though, means it can remain useful for any char level.
