Breaking the Shroud Flagging mechanic

I have a level 12 third lifer with enough mats to craft several GS items. I wanted to run to Meridia and do some crafting, but was warned not to because it could break the Shroud flagging mech.

Is there any truth to this?

Unless you have 40 twelve favor, you cannot get into the room with the alter.

You break the flagging by not speaking with the "Meridia" quest giver in the Twelve Tower and speaking with Aasimev (sp?). I don't know of any other way to break the flagging.

But, as holfrar said, you need 40 favor anyways.

I have run the flagging quests at lvl 13 before, so you could get the favor and be flagged then craft, but depending on how good you are you might get someone to run you through them.

You can also have someone use a bracelet of friends to pull you to them inside the room with the alter. Or use another toon as GS blanks don't bind.
