Scroll farming in ePC

So me and 2 guildies decided to try to farm some scrolls in ePC. We would hit each enemy once before killing the mark in each of the 3 illusionary rooms (until sprites) and then recall. We did it about 10 times getting 33 kills each time and didn't see a thing drop. So, will that method work, or were we just unlucky?

ive heard many people saying it works and seen it for myself I just think you guys where unlucky its only a 1% chance per kill I think, ive gone several hundred kills solo scroll farming before without seeing a single scroll and been in groups where we have only gotten about 70 odd kills and gotten several scrolls.
