Not that great of an accomplishment (especially with 6 deaths...stupid flesh to stone...lucky the barrier goes down after you die :D), but as I'm just starting to get my feet wet with soloing epics...

Pretty fun...Crateos is rather boring (and annoying, as I didn't have a shield on me), and Garos was a pain with flesh to stoning me 7 times (of which I survived once, and had to run back to the shrine the other six times). Overall, a fun experience. :D (Also cost about 6 pots...mostly for garos, as he kept killing me...and at one point, I broke down and got a rest of the eladrin shrine just because of death penalties).

You can avoid most of the issues you had if you bring a shield, equip a resistence +5 item and a good luck +2 item. You get a save every few seconds against Flesh To Stone, so even if you roll a 1 you can usually break out of it before dying.

Yeah, trying to get the resistance +5 item today...spent ~2 hours farming chrono scrolls before getting bored, though. >_<

Otherwise, thinking of picking shield mastery up...I miss it from when I was a fvs.

I enjoy pushing myself to do things like this - but I really only do them once. From that point forward, once I know I can solo it I just start "IP" LFMs.

Tip to avoid flesh to stone is the shield of reflecting. It absorbs up to 5 charges and end boss rarely casts many more then that. Can save your butt on a fleshy. Drops from diplomatic immunity optional monkey man fight! It also has its uses against other epic named mobs as well including the fish in edeeps.

It is a fun mission to solo. Although i cringe at the thought of ever soloing cratos again. He is a bugger on any toon alone. !
