View Full Version : Charmed Monsters Broken after patch

Another thing the patch broke was charmed monsters. Whenever I charm/dominate/suggest a monster the monster will not attack any uncharmed monsters. They will chase uncharmed monsters but once they get within range they just stand there and do nothing. Uncharmed monsters will still attack charmed monsters though. I've tried this with charm monster, dominate, suggestion, mass suggestion, and mass charm monster. Same behaviour with every spell. Very annoying for those quests where I like having the mobs kill each other.

I've had the same problem. Posted comment on the compendium release notes, but didn't get a reply as of yesterday. While I'm sad it's broken, I'm glad I'm not the only one seeing this. I took a look at the Known Issues to see if maybe it was there, but it's not, but to my surprise the list had grown considerably since last time I read the full thing.

Really quite sad to be paying monthly for an increasingly further broken product instead of an increasingly more polished product.

Devs, or more to the point, executives in charge of the devs, would it physically hurt someone there with the authority to make the decision to make Update 14, 15, 16, include a bug reduction of 33% or so each update?

I for one would easily be comfortable with getting only minor content expansions if it meant current content was getting the major overhaul it needs to get rid of so many ultra-long-term Known Issues.

Fixing content doesn't bring in new customers. A shiney new expansion pack does.

Majmal even had a post to that effect, saying that his boss wouldn't let him take manpower off the expansion to fix the new bag bug.

Pretty pathetic.
