Druids - Same as art for completionists?

I have a friend that just got completionist on thelanis, being almost f2p cause he bough 400 points once and thats all, he got last week on his14th life,the completionist.(lost free art for him for a week only).

So, i seek a dev´s answer here, any PLANS, THOUGHTS, or even a concrete decision about Druid being given away to completionists?

i see no reason to exclude druid.. plus the feat itself mention that when new class been release it will be removed from the feat list.

It was stated by Turbine staff in the forums that the artificer free to completionists was a one time deal.

Besides if you think about it druids are a different deal anyway. Arties are a favor class and druids are a VIP/store item only. Your buddy will have to pay if they want to regain completionist.

I tend to agree with this.
While I congratulate your friend on the favour griding he must have done to get enough TP to buy whatever packs, races, classes, etc he owns, I think it was incredibly generous of Turbine to offer Arti free to completionists, and don't think anyone should in any way expect something like that again.

On the odd chance that it WILL be free, there's no way Turbine would tell people that before hand. It would discourage people from buying the expansion package, which includes Druid.

There's no guarantee that Turbine will repeat the Artificer deal (Giving Artificer away for free to all the Completionist players).

This is especially so since TR's are now much easier to accomplish even with TR2+; As well as the gradual growth in Completionist players. So there may be less incentive to repeat this again.

Also, most players that have gone Completionist will most likely have bought the Expansion pack anyway, thus getting the Druid class anyway.

The very few select cases such as your friend may be stuck in limbo over this one due to said changes since the last such occurance.

not likely to me..artificer is favor earn, druid is purchase only. doubt they will do that

None of this precludes your friend from doing the "Favor Grind for TP" thing to get the TP to buy Druid. He has a few months to get ready for the ourchase anyway so....

They gave away Artificer because it could also be unlocked through favor, Druid, not really.

Not to be mean, but... is your friend living in his mother's basement or something? Who could spend *so much of their free time on this game* to hit Completionist, yet not be able to afford the expansion pack? I'm just imagining some very strange life priorities...

By grinding favor. Its really not hard if you are a power gamer and have a few hours a day.
