View Full Version : Bug in Part 1 of STK will get you stuck

I filed a bug report for this but I'm reporting it here.
The room with a chest and there is a ambush. You have to kill all the kobolds to open the door.
The kobolds spawn at the pipes near the door. Kobolds are getting stuck in both of the pipes and you can't attack them unless you use AOE. They don't even act like you are there.

Another bug, unrelated to STK but a similar problem...
VoN 5 in the puzzle room, the warforged are getting stuck in the pipes they come out of. Only way to attack them is AOE. Firewall worked well enough but it is still a pita because you can't just put anyone(melee) up there to get conquest.

I've noticed other things getting stuck coming out of spawn spots too...the black widow (I think) spider that drops down at the beginning of the Splinterskull quests, that's getting stuck.
Saw some ooze regularly getting stuck coming out of a pipe somewhere too...I think maybe Tear of Dhaakan?

There is a bug that has been around since update 10.1 (when I returned to the game) at least where bosses that spawn pets get insta kill on their pet. It wasn't like this before but I have seen it across several quests and the most notable one is the end of the Grey Moon quest series as he will spawn a fiendish troll that instantly dies. This other quest that I did (I can't remember the quest right now) had a boss sit there spawning his pet in a loop because his pet would die instantly. Was so many corpses all dieing in the same spot that it was just too funny.
Now I do not know if these issues are related or not but it sounds like they may actually be.

This bug happened to me, but the doors opened after sometime.

They don't even act like you are there.I noticed the same issue before I had my medical misadventure earlier in the month. It's annoying more that the optional in STK has become broken and unable to be compleated then that you get stuck. If you wait a few minutes, the door will open.
The Black Widow in Tangleroot's first encounter also gets stuck.

Yeah, that's Relic of a Sovereign Past. The Duregar Summoners continuously summon things that die instantly.
As a guild doing TR runs we've also noticed that the Warforged get stuck coming out of the pipes in the puzzle room in Von 5.
As to the Shan to Kor Kobolds, I've noticed that getting them into pursuit mode will resolve it. The door does appear to open after several minutes. But if the person who has aggro moves out of the room eventually they wiggle free trying to chase that person down. That too takes awhile...
No idea how to deal with the spiders in Splinterskull. I've just left them there. This was after wasting arrows trying to plink it to death on a non ranged build.

The duregar earth elemental summons die too; their spiders were surviving the summon the last I knew. The DoS (Dead on Summon) has spread with the last update to the dog summons of the orc wizards too.
An ooze at the start of Missing Party is also stuck and non-targettable.

Relic is indeed the one I was thinking of and as far as DoS getting worse goes all I can saw is wow. :(

try using grease on them. it worked once to get a guildy out of a stuck spot :)
