Selectable Past Life Feat at Level 1?

I know I cant take it at Creation, but can I go to Fred and swap out a placeholder once I get the character in?

Working on a rather unusual build and would really like to get that in my level 1 feat slot to help with class progression.

I thought they had some prereq on them like level 3.

As far as I know Fred checks to see if you could have taken the feat you want at the time you got the one you are swapping. So the short answer is no, you can't use Fred to get around feat requirements.

Don't know the answer but if you have any level 20 toons on the test server this might be a good place to check.

The "Prereq" is actually the passive past life feat. Its granted at level one, but not until after you select your feats apparently. I thought I heard you could indeed swap a level 1 feat for the PL once the character was made... DOnt have Lammania loaded up right now, but I suppose I could find one of my TR's that dont have the feat and visit fred onthe live servers and see if he gives me the option for my l1 feat.

OK, so I just jumped onto my Double TR Wizard. Popped my L1 first feat selected "Toughness" into the "old Feat" and am able to put "Past Life: Arcane Prodigy" in the New feat box.... so looks like it will work.
