LAG needs to be solved.
Neg rep me if you think I'm trolling, I really do not care.
I just want to raise Turbine's Attention. The game is currently unplayable.

My solution to lagg was getting a new laptop and a new modem. Havent had lag ever since... (4 years since the change)
I had a vaio, and bought an Alienware. No more graphics based lagg, then I changed modem, no more connection lagg
Also having high graphics on a "normal" laptop/desktop creates lagg, so lower your resolution and details to reflect the graphics card you have. The only reason for the game to lagg, is if the servers are having a problem, and that is very rare. Its usually your computer, modem or weather that affects your connection.
(edit): If youre on a laptop, I found that changing the battery's performance to
"high performance" reduces graphics based lagg. It does generate a lot of heat though. FYI

OP: have you checked your end for the portion of the broad spectrum of things that are lumped into lag for any part of it your setup or connection might be contributing?
What specific lag most disturbs you?

Grats on the lag!

Maybe after you've played the game for a little longer you'll realise that it's common for multiple people from around the world to all experience the same lag in the same quest at the same time.

-------> I have very little significant lag <------
Just want to raise Turbine's attention. The game is currently un-unplayable.
PS: I think they know there's lag.

Devs are working on the lag:
Thanks for investigating, but this only points to a place it is happening not the problem.
We already collect this data, and when you see the bigger picture, it does not narrow down to just the crafting hall, or instance 2030 or whatnot. It can happen everywhere.
There is a few optimizations in the patch (not in this build tho...next week's...sorry) that should help everyone...especially large groups, but there is at least half a dozen other things we want to change/fix/optimize in the next couple of months.
there are two huge changes that I'll talk about right after patch 1 that we are doing. There are some big under the covers changes that are long overdue. Will this help the instance lag? To be honest, we are not sure yet, there is still more testing to be done.
Here's the workaround players are using that's been very effective against the lag:

i read that, found it interesting, also found that convincing a raid group that 'oh guys this lob instance is borked, let's recall reform and try and get a better one' isnt always received well in many groups.

Both crafting halls on Khyber are current 2049, and if your raid is in that instance you're totally ****ed up the ass with lag and you will wipe.

If your group likes lag, who are you to disagree?
Don't want lag, don't play in lag.
Dont' want to get wet, don't play in water.
Humans... such strange creatures.

I agree with you. The game is currently broken, no epic scrolls, brutal lag in high level raids (just my opinion). The only thing that works out for me at the moment is tr'ing. I dont suffer from lag/bugs there much. Time to get my ranger to 20 =)
+1 for your endurance, I already got bored from complaining.

Horrid lag last night in Cerulean Hills, Khyber instance 2051. Stutter stop and freeze throughout.
