Plat only, or if you have a DoD and you're willing to part with it for FRDS.

My interest on FRDSs is very limited, and I would only use them as barter items: but plat is a better barter item, so I'm not giving plat for scales. Right now, people ask for about 600k plat for one scale, and you need 20 scales to craft an armor, so you need to invest 12 million plat (plus other expensive and/or hard to get items) to craft a nice, yes, but much overrated armor. The fact that you're not able to sell them might mean that you've set an unrealistic price or, very probably, that lots of people have realized that there are other nice armors and the FRDS bubble is bursting.

On the other hand, my opinion could be skewed due to the fact that I've run eVoN6 about 15 times without getting one single scale and given up considering crafting that armor. I have to concede that the item is rare, and rare items should have high prices. But I'm not paying those prices myself.

Lets get this reply organized:

On one hand:

* "Limited interest", yet you post on a thread that seeks only to sell FRDS.

* "Only would use them as a Barter item, but Plat is a better barter item", yet you post on a thread that specifically states Plat Only.

On the other hand:

* You "have given up considering crafting that armor" yet you post in a thread that offers ingredients required to do so.

* You "concede that rare items should have high prices, but I'm not paying those prices myself", yet you post in a thread that requires Plat Only and includes the aforementioned items.

Is it just me or is this reply full of self-expression and FlipFlopping criteria a pefect blend between Trolling and non useful/purposeful info?

I have set no actual price other than "plat", or a DoD IF someone is willing.

I never specified an amount and am waiting for offers. If no one wants them, they will sit until someone does or a guildie needs them.

"Limited interest" does not equal "No interest": as I stated, I'm interested in them as barter items, and would gladly let the poster get rid of them in exchange of, for instance, some spare epic scrolls I have. I did not learn until I read the post that the poster wanted plat only. And... I made no offer!

Later on, the poster wondered why he or she was getting no offers, so I just typed my two cents on the issue.

If expressing an opinion that might shed some light on an issue qualifies as useless trolling, then, yes, it is.

It shed....but not exactly light.
