Might seem like a silly question, but..

For high umd toons, how does a non-artificer go about placing a weapon spell on their weapon when using a scroll? I was looking to add a few minutes of adamantine or elemental damage at various times while soloing.

I've searched known issues and nothing in there. Some sort of trick to it I'm missing?

Not gonna happen ever for 2 handers if scrolling it, I think.

For 1 handers can maybe place scroll in one hand and weapon in the other, then switch weps as needed?

For 2handed weapons it's not gonna happen because you can't equip the weapon and scroll at the same time. For a one handed weapon you will need to place the weapon in your off hand and the scroll in your main hand. If you a TWF then you just gonna have to use 2 scrolls, one for each weapon.

Interesting.

Yeah its a bow, a 2 hander. Which by this means the following weapons cannot be weapon-scrolled.

Quarterstaff
Falchion
Greatclub
Maul
Greataxe
Greatsword

Shortbow
Composite shortbow
Longbow
Composite longbow
Light crossbow
Repeating light crossbow
heavy crossbow
Repeating heavy crossbow
Great crossbow

Shuriken
Dart
Throwing Dagger
Throwing hammer
Throwing axe

Or basically half the weapons in the game.

The other half you can scroll, but with some effort. If you are a two weapon fighter, its quadruple the effort as you switch weapons from hither and thither and yon, and by the time you're all done the spell has run out. I hope I now understand this correctly.

Turbine, why did you design it this way.. why, why, why..
