Greater tomes of learning wiped out by lesser reincarnation???

To begin with, yes, I submitted a ticket.

Short version:
Shelled out $80 for CE pre-purchase pack
Consumed greater learning tome on main character.
Performed LR on said character.
Greater tome wiped out in character sheet, replaced by standard pre-purchase token.
Clicked on token, only lesser tome is returned to me.

***? Those tomes were supposed to be for life, weren't they?

Has anyone else encountered this problem? Other than submitting a ticket and waiting, any suggestions?

It's a known display issue from what the forums are stating.

You still have the bonus to your XP, it's just not showing up as a little book icon on your character sheet. (I can confirm this myself, as I just TR'd recently with a greater learning bonus active.)

The coolest part is that since you TR'd, you now have another experience potion!
(You can toss the rest of that stuff since it's BTC, and useless after it's redeemed once.)

As soon as you click on a quest it will tell you if you have the bonus or not

You can try reading it and you will get you already have a better xp bonus then this one.

Don't throw it away. Who knows what kind of goofy things you'll be able to use them for someday.

Or you could save it and put it in the bank to collect dust, and refer back to it once you've retired. But that's up to you.

Maybe give it to your kids someday?
I hear that you can put tomes on the AH for over 100 years now, so that's probably just about right.
