View Full Version : Gianthold Wilderness really buggy?

Anybody else having problems with Gianthold Wilderness since U13?

Twice I've killed Mind Flayer and not had it show in Rare Encounters (and no XP granted) even though the chest appears and the combat log states I killed him.

I had another rare die (Aurum supply depot master or some name like that) without credit.

I've had rare chests take several minutes to appear (so the above are after waiting more than 10 minutes!)

I've carried my own soul stone in my backpack, dropped it on the ground, and had a party member pick it up and carry it while I ran around killing things - hysterically funny until I realized I wasn't getting credit for explorer areas.

So is this like the epic scroll bug, a new thing broken in U13?

BTW I most certainly did submit a formal bug report, but I'm curious how prevalent this is.

The mindflayer isn't a rare, it's an explorer. It's always there as well as the chest. This is clearly evidenced by the chest being locked.

The supply depot is also an explorer. After you kill boxes (I think that's how to spawn it) the red name appears. A chest is there usually before the red named.

There is an additional random non-rare chest over a Cry for Help. You need to jump along where the archers are on the ledge. If there is a Zakya Cultist then you get a chest when you take him out.
