So, just noticed today that many scrolls in game now say "No UMD for Drd lvl *" Just wanted to throw it out there that we now know what existing spells Druids will be getting. A few basics off the top of my head:
*Druids get all Cure and Inflict spells.
*Druids do NOT get Raise Dead spells.
*Druids get the low-lvl stat boosting spells (Fox's Cunning and such).
*Druids get some elemental spells, though I may be wrong as I am not logged in atm.
Many others are stated, but these are the only ones I remember without checking vendors. Maybe this has already been announced, but everyone in the party I was in when I did my usual "OMG guys, check this out! {Link}!" hadn't seen this yet.
BTW, almost certain my Druid will be splashing 2 Rogue for Raise Dead ^^

The SRD's Druid spell list. Many are spells which won't translate into an MMO well or at all, but you see a good many are already in game.

Druids don't get inflict spells, not a big deal since they get other offensive spells though.
And their cure spells are one level higher than a cleric, and they don't get Mass Heal.
I'd like to see Whirlwind and Earthquake in the game, could be a lot of fun.

Druids get Reincarnate, which doesnt translate into an MMO. "Hey look I ressed you and now your a squirrel..."
So it will probably be a Resurrection or True Res. Unless someone decides to be cheap and give no res spells.
You dont need to splash umd to use res scrolls.
A 8 cha character with a +2 tome and 11 points into umd, some random +3 umd item, and concordant opp sp item will get like a 28 umd. Raise dead is 32.
Why would you lose a capstone, sp, spell pen, level 9 spells, and whatever else Druids will get to save a couple scrolls when you roll a 1-4? get an epic flameward and only fail on like a 1.

So, here's the scene - part IV shroud, Harry is defeated. The party readies themselves in the central area, and the dead are allocated to those who can raise. The cleric calls one, the FvS calls one, and the Druid calls one. The altar is clicked, and the cleric raises someone, the FvS raises someone and the Druid... well, he reincarnates the party fighter as a 1st level drow cleric. Oops.

I miss the 2nd Ed. Druid spell Changestaff. Drop a quarter staff on the ground and transform it into a Treant with Hit Dice and associated abilities based on caster level. Fun times.

3.5e still has changestaff. I don't think it scales anymore though. But it is like a 6th lvl spell IIRC.

Looking forward to reincarnate.
H-Orc barbarian zergs off and dies, screams "res me res me!!11!".
*clicks accept*
Turns to druid "***? I'm a halfling now".
Some lessons to be had here:

The community could already start - based on these observations - to assemble a list of at least useable scrolls (as the lowest common denominator) for the Druid class. The information is there. The only efford is to assemble them all into a list.

Oh god, reincarnate would be sweet fun, if the caster gets to choose what to reincarnate dead people into :D

They definitely should have this in game. Material spell component? 1 quarterstaff, purchasable in the harbor. Turbine do it! Think of all the bag space you'll sell!

I'd kill for the Stoneshape spell. That was one of my favorites in PnP. Magical barrier/locked door blocking the entrance to the rest of the quest? No problem! *Morphs wall*.

Snare is already a Ranger spell... and quite a useless one at that.

I used to run around on my cleric in 2nd ed., stoneshaping the cornerstones of castles flat and ruining an hour's adventure because the DM thought that would actually collapse a structure. We ran a lot of open-area adventures after that.

This one makes me kinda cringe
Transmute Metal to Wood: Metal within 40 ft. becomes wood. Sword of Shadows becomes beaver snack.
The Part that stinks though is this:
Level 9 spells
- Antipathy: Object or location affected by spell repels certain creatures.
- Cure Critical Wounds, Mass: Cures 4d8 damage +1/level for many creatures.
- Elemental Swarm: Summons multiple elementals.
- Foresight: “Sixth sense” warns of impending danger.
- Regenerate: Subject’s severed limbs grow back, cures 4d8 damage +1/level (max +35).
- Shambler: Summons 1d4+2 shambling mounds to fight for you.
- Shapechange F: Transforms you into any creature, and change forms once per round.
- Storm of Vengeance: Storm rains acid, lightning, and hail.
- Summon Nature’s Ally IX: Calls creature to fight.
- Sympathy M: Object or location attracts certain creatures.
Spells that could work:
- Cure Critical Wounds, Mass: Cures 4d8 damage +1/level for many creatures.
- Elemental Swarm: Summons multiple elementals.
- Regenerate: Subject’s severed limbs grow back, cures 4d8 damage +1/level (max +35).
- Shambler: Summons 1d4+2 shambling mounds to fight for you.
- Shapechange F: Transforms you into any creature, and change forms once per round.
- Storm of Vengeance: Storm rains acid, lightning, and hail.
- Summon Nature’s Ally IX: Calls creature to fight.
Spells that will actually make it in:
- Cure Critical Wounds, Mass: Cures 4d8 damage +1/level for many creatures.
- Regenerate: Subject’s severed limbs grow back, cures 4d8 damage +1/level (max +35).
- Summon Nature’s Ally IX: Calls creature to fight.
Nice list huh?
