Anyone used "Drizzt Panther" in HoX yet?

The reason I am asking is, Xyzzy seems to have "DR infinite/Dog". Everyone knows that only her own puppies can hurt her, but I had seen reports that rangers' summoned razorcat can also damage Xyzzy. Of course, damage was inconsequential before razorcat got squashed, but from what little information we have about Panther from Forgotten Realms, it might do significant DPS in that raid.

Cant use hirelings in raids, wish it was like the arti dog, but no, takes a party slot.

Except that HoX is a raid and hirlings including the onyx panther cant be used in a raid.

We've tried everything in the book against her and nothing causes damage, but her charmed children.

There was a funny rumor going on and everyone rushed to make epic wolf whistles, but they do nothing as well. We took 5 epic hounds and had them tank her for over 20 min. damage done = 0.

The only way to beat is to do it the way it was intended.

thanks! It's even easier to tell now that we can see the damage that hirelings/summons do. Previously we had to guess and test. Now it's easy to check. 0,0,0. yup.

You can damage her in another way besides the dogs....but what it is...I know and you probably know but if you don't know then know that I and others know and that while it is possible it's not very efficient but it works and knowing is half the battle G.I. Koopa!

Disintegration guard used to damage her. Not sure if it still does.

I -think- it has to be in guard form though. We've tried disintegrate and Horrid Wilting and they never worked. So we never bothered with guards. That's neat to know that guards work though, I'll be trying that out next hound run.

Make sure that whoever is chew toy doesn't have all those guards on when the puppies are chewing on him/her. :)

just as a note, i have had lightning strike guards go off on her. it did say immune

Steam-Riposte-Thorn+Gthorn (they stack like any other guard)-Disint-Salt-Crushing Wave

I have a setup that includes Steam-Disint-Salt-CW-Gthorn and does quite a bit of damage, on hard it usually keeps agro -over- the puppies and on normal it does indefinitely, elite is iffy but I still get a lot off on her before agro shifts..

What I do is I tell the charmer to wait 30 seconds before charming the next two so I can re-establish agro and perhaps get a couple more thousand damage on her.. With these guards I've never had to use more than four stones on any difficulty, and have the fastest completion time for HoX elite (6 minutes) in my server (Cannith).

Unfortunately my account (Yokido) is perma'd for undistinguished reasons so I cannot keep helping monks with their wraps. :C
