fail on new item

I bought the collector's expansion pack, and saw that cute black-panther looking thing in inventory.

Picked whom to use it first, Plumwine used it (on Thelanis) and presto ... nothing happened.

No xp boost, no panthers, no pets, no nothing ... and the item dissappeared.

I can't do a ticket, it won't take, and no one has responded to my bug report, over an hour ago ...

I was advised to post here ... hope for resolution soon!

This happened to me also ... I know there are multiple threads on this and one of the devs have said that they are working on it. I guess some reassurance from them that we will get what we paid for would be nice.

This happened to me as well (also bought the collecters). On my first toon, and one later on. Since it happened on the first toon, none of the others were given the cosmetic pet option. So i am not able to use that, nor was i given the promised greater tome of learning.

worked on my main char, but nothing happened when using it on a 2nd char, although i got the message:

(Standard): You have officially redeemed a pre-purchase loot ticket for this character. Your pre-purchase items are now in your inventory.

pretty much the most annoying thing that could happen to be honest!

Same here. Used the ticket. Got nothing. Logged out, back in, still nothing. Pretty bad to not have it working after we paid $79. I also submitted bug report. At least I am not the only one. *comforting?*


Edit: Strangely I did get my 2000 TP, no idol is in my hireling folder, VIP status. If that matters.

There is actually another thread that Tolero is keeping up to date here (http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=363827). For now, I'd recommend that if you have characters that have not tried to get there pre-order items yet just to hold off until we get the fix through. We are still working on this and will get a fix out as soon as we can.
